(1909-2003) Диллон, Кларенс ДугласГосударственный и политический деятель, дипломат, финансист, влиятельный представитель финансовых кругов Нью-Йорка. Родился в американской семье в Швейцарии. По окончании Гарвардского университета [ Harvard University] (1931) работал в семейной инвестиционной фирме, возглавил ее в 1946. В 1958 назначен заместителем государственного секретаря по экономическим вопросам [Under Secretary] в администрации Д.
